Welcome to YWAM Durban

E-mail Print PDF

A broken city rampant with crime, AIDS, poverty, unemployment, yet alive with hope of a better tomorrow. Yet we at YWAM Durban refuse to let that dictate what becomes of this place and its beautiful people. We are here with the hope to make this a better place, joining with others to provide a home to the homeless, be a voice to the voiceless and to bring life to the dead.

Our vision here at YWAM Durban is to release and equip the indigenous people to reach their God given destiny.

In partnership with the local church, YWAM Durban believes they will achieve their goals to:

Create a platform for the indigenous people to celebrate their gifts through music, dance and cultural performances, to empower them to reach their full potential.

Educate and assist the poor and needy, abused women and children and orphans, especially those orphaned by the AIDS pandemic.

Impact and train people in godly character and excellence to influence the domains of society, i.e. the family, church, government, education, arts, media and business.
