By Metro Rail from Durban Train Station
The Base is easily accessible from Durban Train Station. There are trains that leave Durban station just about every hour on Mondays to Fridays. The Train departure times can be found on the Metro Rail website http://www.metrorail.co.za/Timetables.html

The train which you will need to take to "Escombe Station" that is on the line to Pinetown. Be sure to purchase a valid ticket before boarding the carriage or else you will be required to pay a fine.
The journey from Durban Station to Escombe is about a 30 minutes and from Escombe station is a further 15 minute walk to the base. As you leave the Escombe station, turn to your right and proceed down the road (you will pass a small shopping centre on left) until you pass under the railway bridge. Immediately turn right to your right into Bowker Road. Follow Bowker Road – pass the sports club - until you turn into Howard Road. We are No 7:
By Plane
If you are coming by plane, please ensure that your ticket is booked all the way to "Durban International Airport". Unfortunately we can't come and get you from any other airport that is not "Durban International Airport".
If you have made prior arrangement with us, we will be able to pick you up from the airport for a "pick-up fee" of R150.00.
You are able to "catch" a taxi and request them to bring you to "7 Howard Road, Malvern", but that will cost you more than R150.00.
It is important that you communicate the following details with us well in advance: Flight Number (-very important), Date and Time of Arrival, Flight from (please indicate the last leg of the flight, i.e. the flight that brings you to “Durban International Airport).
Please be aware that if we have not confirmed that we will pick you up at the airport, don't expect us to be there.

For those of you who are driving here:
You will need to get to Malvern, Queensburgh first. From there, take the Old Main Road (M5) towards Pinetown. Turn off into Bowker Road and turn right into Howard Road, we are No 7.
