Here at YWAM Durban we get so excited when YWAM teams from all over the world come and invest in this great city we live in! From Argentina, to New Zealand, to Australia, to the USA, to Northern Ireland and Holland, the nations are coming to Durban to spread the gospel of God!
The work visiting teams do here is very important. Without the hands and prayers we aren’t able to reach as many people as we can in this great city of 3.5 million people!
Some of the places were we go:
Greyville: In the inner city of Durban lies a place of hope. In conjunction with the Greyville Methodist Church and Manning Road Methodist Church there is a ministry among the homeless and street children. We help in serving the free lunch at the Greyville church as well as going into the deep and dark places of the inner city, seeking out the lost. We go into shelters and condemned buildings with the full time workers there.
