THE WORD
OF GOD
WHAT IS A DBS?
The Discipleship Bible School seeks to create a community environment where believers can receive a foundation of Biblical knowledge and tools for a lifetime of Bible study and application.
This is a 3-month deep dive into the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
WHY DO A DBS?
Discover how the books of the Bible fit together, their purposes and main themes, and learn to apply God's timeless principles to your everyday life.
During your DBS, you’ll learn from dynamic teachers and study alongside a passionate community as you explore the Bible in its historical context. Each week focuses on a different time period, tracing the story of Scripture chronologically from the creation of the world to John’s revelation of Jesus’ second coming. These foundations will deepen your understanding of God’s Word and equip and strengthen you for life.
TOPICS The Pentateuch TOPICS The Tribal Era TOPICS The Life of David TOPICS The Kings of Israel TOPICS The Early Prophets TOPICS The Late Prophets TOPICS Postexilic and Intertestamental and prayer TOPICS Jesus and the Church TOPICS Paul TOPICS John

“…a time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23
Our school desires to embrace the value of spirit and truth with Bible engagement. When studying the Bible, it is easy to focus on information and lose the heart behind why the Bible was written and why we have it as such a valuable resource. And yet, it is also easy to live Christianity based on experiences, moving from one big thing to the next, without ever being grounded in a foundation. We’re not called to just worship God in spirit or just in truth, but in spirit and truth! The truth that we are learning should be moving us in deeper intimacy with Jesus. If we live out this principle of spirit and truth, we will live truly transformed lives for the kingdom of God.
